The week long Intramural Sports Tournament epartment organized by Department of Physical Education and Sports GDC Kargil, came to it’s conclusion on September 15th with Final Round Matches and Felicitation ceremony.Various games in different catagories, including volleyball, handball and tug of war were played between different teams on itramural levels during this tournament. The tournament was inaugurated by the principal of the college Prof. Disket Angmo with her address on the importance of sports among the student community. Earlier, the principal had flagged off volleyball tournament in the first phase on September 10th , 2025. On the first day, four Women teams  and six teams of Men’s  participated in volley ball matches. Among Women’s team Purple D was declared winner and Brown C was the runner-up team and among the Men’s team, the winner was White B and the runner-up team remained Velvet A.

On the next day, handball game was played on 11th of September, 2025 wherein a total of ten teams participated. The teams were comprised of six Men’s and 4 Women’s respectively.  Among the Women’s teams White B was emerged victorious and Velvet A was the runner-up. In the Men’s handball Mach, White B clinched the finals and Velvet A was the runner-up.

In the last day of the tournament, the tug of war games was played on 15th of September, 2025. The winner among the Women’s team was Brown C and the runner-up team was Purple D, and among the Men’s team, the winner was White and the runner-up was Purple team.   

On the concluding event of the tournament, Principal of the college expressed satisfaction  over the successful completion of the tournament. She distributed the certificates and medals among the participating teams. College Sports Director Mr. Mustafa Ali  also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the overwhelming participation of Students in the event. Dr. Syed Yaseen, Member Sports committee presented the vote of thanks. The programme ended up with serving high tea for both faculty and the students.
