The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Government Degree College Kargil today successfully concluded its week-long Special Camping Programme held from 14 to 20 November 2025 at the historic border village of Hundurman, Kargil. The camp was started on the 14th of Nov, with a ceremonial flag-off by respected Principal Prof. Disket Angmo at the college campus. A contingent of 40 enthusiastic NSS volunteers, accompanied by Programme Officer Mr Sayed Mustafa Kamal, proceeded to Hundurman to carry out various community-oriented activities. During the seven-day camp, volunteers actively engaged with the local community through a series of meaningful initiatives. Career counselling and awareness sessions on Viksit Bharat @2047, health, hygiene, and sanitation was conducted at the Government Middle School, Hundurman. The volunteers trekked in the picturesque surrounding areas, promoting physical fitness and environmental awareness.
