The program aimed to highlight the role of youths in realising India’s dream of a Viksit Baharat 2047.
The even included Poster Making Competition on the Theme, “Viksit Baharat, My Vision”, a Speech Competition on “My role in building a Viksit Baharat” and Quiz Competition on “Current Developments in Science and Tech, Current Affairs, General Knowledge”.
Many students took part in various competitions very enthusiastically and more than 40 Participants were present to take part in various events.
While the Poster Making Competition started early in the library room, the program took off at 11:30 AM in the Seminar Hall that began with a welcome speech by Mrs Kaneez Fatima (NSS Program Officer - II). After that the Quiz Competition began in with 5 teams participated.
After the quiz competition, Mr Aijaz Ali, Youth Icon, designated by Ministry of Youth and Sports gave a power point presentation on MyBaharat and its significance.
Following that the speech competition began in which more than 15 students from various semesters of GDC Kargil took part.
Ms Mehmooda, an NSS Volunteer of GDC Kargil highlighted the role NSS playes in building the youths.
Towards the end participants of various categories were facilitated with certificates and the winners were given prizes through the hands of worthy Principal GDC Kargil Prof Disket Angmo.
Ms Faiza Batool of 1st Semester was declared 1st position in Speech Competition, while Ms Rizwana Batool came 1st in the Poster Making Competition and Mr Jigmet Choswang and Thinley Dorjey stood 1st in Quiz Competition. A total number of more than 80 audiences were present for the program.
The program was concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Mr Sayed Mustafa Kamal (NSS Program Officer).
