Government Degree College started one week film making course from 13th-19th April 2026.
The opening session for the Course was held at Government Degree College (GDC) Kargil on 13th April. The session began with the formal inauguration of the course.
Mr. Mohammad Ali Shabir (Assistant Professor English presented the welcome address. He welcomed the resource person and participants, and highlighted the importance of film making skills in modern education.
The course was conducted by Shri Ajmal Jani, Director of Centographoy NDTV. He shared his professional expertise and guided students on various aspects of film making.
The course is to be conducted from 13th April to 19th April. During this period, students will learn
• Basics of film making
• Camera handling
• Script writing
• Direction and production
• Practical sessions
Proper Refreshments were arranged by the Protocol Committee, ensuring proper hospitality for all participants.The vote of thanks was delivered by Mehboob Ali (6th Semester Student). He expressed gratitude to the resource person, faculty members, and organizing committee.
The session concluded with appreciation for the successful organization of the course and active participation of students.
