GDC Kargil conducted two-days Intra Mural Sports Competition:
Department of Physical Education & Sports GDC Kargil organised intramural competition for 100m, 200m, and 400m races (men and women) on 24th April as two-day event. The first day was dedicated to selection trials, while the second day began with the formal inauguration by the Principal, Prof. Disket Angmo, followed by the National Anthem.
The program commenced with a welcome speech by Mustafa Ali, Director Physical Education & Sports who also highlighted the importance of sports in overall development. The session was moderated by Ahasan Ali, a student of 6th semester. The Principal delivered the concluding address, congratulating the Sports Committee and all participants for their efforts and achievements. Assistant Professor, Pol.Sc. The Protocol Committee ensured proper arrangements for refreshments, and all staff members contributed to the smooth conduct of the event. The event ended with a vote of thanks presented by Sajjad Hussain who appreciated each and every person for making the event successful. Special thanks was presented to the College Protocol, Media & Publicity Committee for their cooperation & help.
Students were felicitated with Award Medals, Certificates along with refreshment to all the participants.
